# AgenticFI Glossary

## Agent OS

An operating layer for AI-assisted work. In AgenticFI, the agent OS coordinates chat, voice, meetings, notes, reminders, local context, task state, approvals, and specialized agents.

## Local-First

A product model where the Mac remains the center of gravity for local context and workflows. Local-first does not mean local-only; selected AI, marketplace, sync, and realtime features may use backend services.

## Local Context

User-approved context from the Mac workspace, such as notes, meetings, transcripts, reminders, calendar context, and previous agent runs.

## Permissioned Agents

Specialized agents that declare what they need, what they can do, and when user approval is required.

## Transcript-Backed Notes

Meeting summaries and notes that remain connected to the original captured transcript, allowing users to review sources instead of trusting unsupported summaries.

## Task Cards

Visible units of agent work that show task state, sources, approvals, and results.
